So what? So let

healthy diet protects against depression?

Before answering the title question I would like to quote definitions explaining what it actually is "depression" and when we say someone is "healthy." According to the World Health Organization (WHO) health is: " of complete physical well-being, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease and decrepitude" . This definition comes from the 1948 and beginning of the XXI century has been extended to the efficiency of the "leading a productive life social and economic ". Besides, it was found that an essential element to achieve full health is to meet spiritual needs.

With the above definitions, it is clear that the "health" is not only the proper functioning of all organs but also our performance in our professional and private life, the ability to communicate with others and keeping calm in stressful situations, ability to think clearly and logically force in accordance with his inner conscience, which meets the spiritual needs of man.

Anyone who does not feel any pain, there are no problems with sleep and mood, does not need to take medicines, and meets all the requirements cited the definition of "health" developed by the WHO can say that it is fully healthy. The problem arises when any of the health requirements of the World Health Organization is not satisfied. Then you may receive one of the diseases of civilization called "depression." It is a condition which is characterized mainly worsening of mood, lack of will to live, hunger attacks, which are often backed by unhealthy foods in large quantities, which in turn can lead (Or rather inevitably lead) to the digestive system problems, skin changes, bloating, insomnia - a word the whole avalanche of complaints, which can contribute even to suicide.


CAUSE NO BAD DIET AND OPTIMISM

Today we know that the cause of depression in many cases including poor diet. At this point I would like to clarify that the term "diet" I mean a permanent eating habits. According to my reasoning, each used a diet (more or less healthy). Please do not be confused with the popular in recent 2-3 years of weekly allowances, or transient changes in eating habits.

Ok. back to the merits. As I have said poor eating habits contribute to depression. Scientists from the U.S. claim that the greatest threat is a diet rich in fat and carbohydrate-protein combination. Tombak was right when he wrote that the combination of potatoes (carbohydrates) and meat (protein) interferes with normal digestion process thereby damaging the digestive system. Scientists have shown that carbohydrates combined with protein does not stimulate production of serotonin, and thus do not fully meet its role. From a nutritional point of view, the most common cause of depression is a deficiency of vitamins and minerals that we need a daily supply of food. About vitamins and their presence has been written a lot (I also wrote a little about it) so instead of describing the various vitamins, and elements such as, magnesium will focus on research on depression:

Research conducted by prof. Roland Griffiths confirmed that higher doses of caffeine induce the so-called. enhancement effect, which is forced to continue drinking - addictive. In addition, rapid withdrawal of coffee can cause sudden symptoms such as numbness, headache, and depression.

Study 3: Chronic fatigue
One of the causes of chronic fatigue may be a food allergy. Research conducted by prof. Talal Nsouli School of Medicine at Georgetown University, are proving that food allergies are responsible for approximately 60% of cases of chronic fatigue in patients treated in his clinic. And now a few words about me: I used to be terrible, "nerwuskiem" I had acne and abundant overweight. I was sickly, and often taken sporadically przeziębiałem lot of antibiotics.
